Kayak in Galicia

Why is it called that? Quite simple, in our community, the vast majority of rivers are rain-fed, meaning that their flow depends on winter rainfall, unlike most rivers in the rest of Europe, which depend on glacial melt. This means that during the winter, depending on the rainfall, we have a huge variety of rivers to kayak.

Added to this, the temperatures in winter, both outside and inside the water, are very pleasant. But that's not all. Galicia 🌊 is famous not only for its rivers, but also for its gastronomy, culture, nature... and so, travelling from river to river, we will explore this part of Galicia that very few tourists get to know, the real Galicia, with its villages, its landscape, its people and its customs.

Thanks to these characteristics, in recent years Galicia has become one of the best destinations in the world to enjoy its rivers in winter.
